This first "official" manifestation of E#'s IrRational Music was released as a cassette on zOaR Records in the autumn of 1981. Recorded on a Sony portable cassette deck, these tracks have been mastered by E# at Studio zOaR in 2022 for this issue. NYC tracks were recorded at Studio PASS and at Inroads. New Haven tracks were recorded at Chapel Arts Center, a small cultural center booked by Loren Connors.

Performed on soprano saxophone (1, 2, 6, 8) and on a Japanese Norma electric guitar that was defretted by E# and plugged into an MXR Distortion+ pedal (2, 4,5, 7, 9, 10).
