about

Document of a live solo concert by E# in 1992 at Hamburg's Westwerk, an independent cooperative culture space. On this tour, Sharp debuted his new double neck guitar bass built by Doug Henderson. The concert also features E#'s soprano saxophone and throat singing. The music bridges the gaps between NoWave rock and free improvisation, heavy metal and noise, proto-industrial and classical extended techniques.

Westwerk was originally released in 1992 by the Berlin label Ear-Rational, run by Manfred Schiek and named for E#'s "IrRational Music" concepts.
